Warm Stories by Svetlana Karpushina

While traveling across Russia, you’ve likely encountered these charming wooden houses with lace-like carved window frames and slightly crooked fences. They exude warmth and coziness, with hot pies, fragrant tea with jam, grandmother’s care, embroidered towels, and handwoven rugs. Something so distant yet very familiar to us.

My name is Svetlana Karpushina, and I am the author of the “Warm Stories” project. We create meaningful and impressive New Year gifts. In our works, we tell warm stories from our childhood. Each composition carries something that resonates in the heart and leaves a warm trace on the soul. Every house is created and painted by hand.

We greatly value that our creativity resonates with people of all ages. For some, it’s a journey back to childhood and warm memories; for others, it’s a dream of having a cozy village house, and for children, it’s a magical world in a small window. Our houses leave no one indifferent, evoking tenderness and joy.

The size of each house is just 10*10 cm, yet it contains an entire miniature world: a painted stove, a bed piled with pillows covered in muslin, a decorated Christmas tree, with fragrant tea brewing in a miniature teapot on the table, and small pies cooling on a saucer. Imagine, the house lights up, you peek into the tiny window, and immerse yourself in this magical little cozy world.

See you in September at Presentica 2024!
