New Year Toys and Gifts for the Most Important People

For me, the magic of the New Year isn’t just about believing in miracles, plans, dreams, and wishes. It’s also about living with the thought that it’s too early to start preparing for the New Year and buying gifts. You think this for a month, then the second month, and then suddenly, on December 20th, you find yourself stuck in traffic on a snow-covered street, wondering what to buy for your colleagues at Auchan, because it’s already too late to order from marketplaces. And even the shelves at Auchan are empty of souvenirs. 

Does this feeling sound familiar to you?

If not, my selection of New Year decorations and accessories will come in handy, and if it does, let’s correct this and start preparing in advance. 

Christmas Decorations

I’ve already told you about this participant of Presentica before, but she’s relevant again now – Anna Kravchenko, who creates under the brand MYATA ceramics. Tenderness and elegance describe her work perfectly. An ideal gift.

Here’s what the showroom RES Objects will present at Presentica. They have both toys-symbols of the year, a witty and recognizable set of “Writers” Christmas balls for erudites and intellectuals, and the imaginative “A Second Before the Coronavirus”. The Christmas toys in the shape of domes can also be an excellent gift for international partners.

The author’s workshop of Elena Balashova (BEl) will bring exclusive Christmas toys made of polymer materials and glass, as well as papier-mâché toys to Presentica this year. It’s what creates a New Year atmosphere at home.

Gift Arche will present exclusive Christmas tree decorations from world-renowned Polish craftsmen. They have the hit of recent years – Cheburashka, religious-themed toys, traditional, and Victorian ones. In short, there will be a lot to see.

Presentica will have a wide selection of Christmas accessories. One of the brands, “VIVANTART,” is the brainchild of artist Elena Derbicheva. Such Christmas tree decorations will not be found anywhere else.

When I was preparing the selection and going through the participants, nothing foreshadowed that this master would make it here. But Elena Zheltukhina from Voronezh has already prepared a series of epoxy resin hanging toys for the Christmas tree themed around the symbol of the year.

The master “Masha Plays” specializes in Christmas toys and says that she puts a part of her soul into each product. And honestly, it shows. You’ll understand this yourself when you see her works at Presentica. I would buy it just for the name: “Peace to Your Home.”

The “Moscow Toy” manufactory will present their cotton toys created by the hands of mothers of special children at Presentica. This is the social mission of the manufactory. How can one avoid high-flown words about the big and little miracles these women create?.. And by supporting the producers financially, we also make a certain choice.

Moreover, “Moscow Toy” has its museum and conducts workshops.

I add the Warm Stories of Svetlana Karpushina to this selection too because nothing more New Year-like and wintery can be imagined. The craftswoman makes miniature houses, photo frames (they are whole installations!), slippers, mittens, and other warm things out of felt.

The factory-museum “MY ZABAVA” is an Ivanovo handicraft production of Christmas toys and porcelain items. It features cotton toys, wooden toys, and porcelain ones.

The Russian doll manufactory “Cherepanova and Partners” makes their cotton toys using traditional Russian technology, refined by the author and creator of the manufactory, Irina Cherepanova. And you’ll see – the detailing is incredible.

Or here’s the “EVIS” glass factory from Gus-Khrustalny, bringing traditional toys just like those that once hung on our Christmas tree at home. Looking at them, I feel a surge of nostalgia.

Gingerbread

There are plenty of toys today. Let me show you another option for a New Year’s gift – gingerbread from Julia Cookies. Julia specializes in corporate orders for New Year’s.

New Year’s Light

Folk traditions and celebrations in different countries are quite similar. It’s understandable: what do you want on long winter evenings? Cozy light. What do you think about these nightlights? I think, if there are children in the house, this will be a heartfelt gift. However, it will touch adults too. This brand “In the House Light” is a workshop of magical nightlights with original illustrations. I long to see them in person.

I can’t imagine how to choose Christmas tree decorations here. They are all unique, one-of-a-kind, and made with soul. You have to decide with your heart and see which one feels right in your hand. What other criteria could there be?

Take the opportunity to visit all the stands personally and choose the most suitable ones for yourself, your colleagues, and partners. And truly don’t delay: the warehouses are full, the craftsmen are eager to fulfill your corporate orders. But by November, it won’t be the same.
